New Project - Toyota MR2 Mk1 - 1989

Here's the new project, a 1989 Toyota MR2 Mk1. It starts, but will die if you rev it, which made it good fun getting on the trailer when we collected it from Big Sis' up in Desborough. Always liked these little 2 seaters, especially the angled wedge of the Mk1's.

Apart from it's poor running, the bodywork has rusted in all the usual places though nothing too bad, the interior is in excellent condition which is a real bonus. Plan is to cut out the rust and weld in some neat repairs, full respray and then sell. It'll be a nice little car when done.
