In 1998 I bought a Triumph Herald 13/60, here you can read about it's restoration and share in a few photo's from it's travels. Please feel free to leave comments to any of the posts, of even email me if you want to.

Engine Rebuild (Part 3)

The conrods came back from the engineers after having the small end bushes reamed, so I fitted the rings onto the new oversized pistons (+60) and then the conrods onto the pistons, then conrods/pistons into block with new +10 big end bearings.

New pistons and rings on balanced conrods
Next I wanted to paint the engine and definitely didn't want black, so I decided on Duck Egg.....

Engine Block painted in Duck Egg
Cylinder Head painted in Duck Egg
Timing Chain Cover painted in Duck Egg
The Engine front and back plates will be in black for contrast.
